World is Not an Easy Place to Survive
World is Not an Easy Place to Survive
“It’s not just what you do; it’s how much you do, and how far you go. It doesn’t matter if you have 10 dollars of savings or $1 million in a bank account. Do something. If you want to change the world, start with one act. Make each day count by making your day meaningful.”– Jim Rohn
“What is so hard about our business is that we don’t know where we are going; where we should be going.” -James Clear
Life is an adventure — whether yours is worth living. I believe it all starts around 7 AM. A new idea starts being tested by someone else who has faith in their abilities. Everyone wants to feel like they are on a roll. The energy from others boosts morale and pushes forward with more optimism than ever before. We push ourselves to higher levels all the time and don’t stop until there is nothing left to do but put everything into perspective. There is a feeling called apathy but if we can keep moving, there will always be joy.
The hardest thing about life is pushing each breath of your lungs and living it through to the end-to-end. Making it about every moment and getting out of bed every morning. No regrets. In a few minutes, you could probably save up to 50 thousand dollars. But, let’s be honest, saving money for retirement isn’t as fun as having it. You have this feeling of relief when you realize you don’t have to pay bills anymore. Life is still pretty exciting and full of opportunity. Even though it feels like the days are getting shorter and darker with every passing minute.
In today’s society, most of us are trying to work towards goals without thinking too much about success. We have been conditioned to think that reaching our dreams will make a difference. That is why achieving the unattainable is frowned upon and deemed stupid but we don’t see it that way. Most of the time, even those who achieve big things do not think about working to get closer. They tell themselves it would have been easier had they just worked harder. That way they would be more successful at the end of the mile. Instead of seeing this struggle as the best part of their journey, we choose to take this for granted and focus solely on ourselves. This brings a whole different mindset to things and helps create problems down the road. When we lose sight of these little pieces of information and look up at the sky for signs we tend to reach for the stars when we fail.
We are here for no reason other than to survive. Our lives are shaped around how successful we become and how many opportunities we get. Many people choose to live simply because they don’t want to risk losing anything. Some people may even choose to live under a bridge like Elon Musk because he does not fear failure. He chooses to live his way and stay busy with small achievements. Like climbing Mt. Everest, and winning over 20 million followers on Instagram. His motto is “Don’t Be Alone” and it is a constant reminder that life has given us too many lessons to learn. And we can choose how far we will press our limits.
Nowadays, everyone seems to be spending thousands of dollars from Netflix subscription services. As a result of this, we are creating another generation which will not be able to retire at 65 and still continue to watch shows. People won’t enjoy retiring from a job they love, they might even dread it and never actually leave that career. Social media influencers have taken advantage of the fact that once a person hits thirty-five or whatever age they set themselves at, they cannot stop posting content. While this creates an image of self-help materialism and consumerist products. However, when you think about the type of people we are talking about, we rarely consider the impact of such simple purchases on families and nations.
While the amount of money spent on TV subscriptions has increased since 2020, there is only so many hours in one week to spend every month. For example, the average American watches three hours of television per night, which means only five hours of work actually gets done per week. These statistics are staggering. With billions of people spending money online, every second counts. Every minute matters. Especially while dealing with strangers everyday. Living in an era where we have access to any type of news anywhere in the world. Because we all have smartphones. Why are we not using them? Because we find ourselves scrolling through social media instead.
We seem to have forgotten about the importance of real estate. Nowadays, most middle-class individuals are purchasing homes without planning for how long they plan on staying. The cost of housing is rising rapidly and now it is harder and harder to buy an apartment and flip it to rented apartments. Additionally, rents are skyrocketing but unfortunately many buyers lack finances and must depend on charities, government programs, etc. to finance the purchase of a home. On top of this, some companies even charge rent through mortgage brokers and then resell it later after buying it for less. Overall, the value of rental properties is increasing due to high demand and price competition. Renting a house is becoming expensive and not easy. Prices are rising faster than wages and the majority of Americans are unable to afford to live in a home. Due to inflation, homeownership is no longer a dream but a reality for a certain group that is considered upper-middle class.
Overall, the lifestyle of these wealthy people is drastically changing. Their desire to succeed is based off of owning a lavish home, fancy cars, and various items that appeal to a particular crowd. Unfortunately, some people forget that they had to earn their success, as well. So, instead of putting effort into improving their own situation, they try to improve the situation of their friends or colleagues. Ultimately, it leads back to more stress as people begin to spend more time and effort on building their wealth.

One person who can truly affect the future of humanity is Elon Musk. Through his company, Tesla Motors, he is striving to turn transportation technology into another source of income. He created two vehicles called X Roadster and Y SUV that he plans on selling. Both are electric and have powerful engines that help the vehicle travel over 200 km/h. By doing this, he hopes to increase employment and boost the economy of the surrounding area. While these intentions are good, sometimes you have to break the rule of the game to overcome adversity. At the end of the day, it isn’t about what Elon said, it is about his actions.
